Moisture Festival presents the perfect April Fools evening with a high-energy comedy/varieté show featuring a rapid succession of acts showcasing comedy alongside awe-inspiring physical and mental dexterity, with poignant moments of strength and delicate beauty to make you laugh, wonder, and shake your head in disbelief. A live show band propels each performance. Varieté has roots in the Music Halls of 19th-century England, cabaret in Europe, and vaudeville in America. Because of the talented artists currently working in this genre, it is fresh, exciting, and tremendous fun for everyone. Stop for dinner on your own at Jimmy Max's, famous for their Value-packed happy hour, hubcap burgers, and creative salads served in a Texas-style roadhouse where peanut shells go on the floor, and fluffy hot rolls get delivered with every meal.
