You will pick your seating on the train and then ride from 90 feet above sea level to 1,726', a dramatic enough elevation change to allow for about a month’s worth of bloom. Witness blossoms on 2.4 million trees–that comes out to about 15,000 acres of apples, pears, peaches, and cherries, all blooming throughout spring. The narrated train ride will tell you more about the apples, pears, cherries, and peaches produced in the Gorge region. A 45-minute stop at the Hood River Fruit Company and packing museum. There is a winery to do tastings. At the end of your journey, spend time in charming downtown Hood River for lunch and shopping. Then, visit Multnomah Falls.
