Snuggle up for a sleigh ride in the mountains. You'll ride in a horse-drawn sleigh through the woods and along the river. We will provide snack packs for a light lunch as we travel over the snowy mountain pass. You'll have time to ex-plore the Bavarian Village of Leaven-worth afterward and stay long enough to see it aglow during their Bavarian Village of Lights celebration (the town lights stay up until the end of February). All the quaint shops, wine-tasting rooms, and cafes will be waiting to welcome you inside without the December holiday crowds. On the return ride home over the mountains, we will serve a hot beverage and cookies. We plan to take beautiful Hwy 2 over and I-90 back, subject to road conditions.
