Day 2 Lake Mead Scenic Byway with Redstone, Lost city and Red Hills Desert Garden

The red rock is composed of frozen sand dunes from the Jurassic era, and the red coloring is caused by iron that leached up through the sand before it solidified into rock. The Lost City Museum shares its location with an actual prehistoric site of the Ancestral Puebloans. The museum was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935. Red Hills Desert Garden in St. George is known for its collection of endangered species of plants and fossil tracks. L

Day 3 Zion-Mount Carmel Highway and Bryce Canyon Sunset

Travel along the scenic Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. The East Zion Tunnel connects Zion's two distinct landscapes and is a true marvel of engineering. Pull outs will be made along the way for amazing photo ops. Arrive at Bryce Canyon to experience the sun setting over the canyons. Seeing the stark white of freshly fallen snow, red rocks, blue sky, and evergreen trees--has many saying Bryce Canyon is the most beautiful in winter! B

This evening is an unforgettable experience gliding through the pristine slopes of Park City’s snow-capped mountains in a horse-drawn sleigh. Upon arrival at the Snowed Inn Lodge, you will be welcomed by a roaring fire, live music, and western-style meal. B,D
