Day 1 Fly to Las Vegas
Board our late morning flight on Alaska non-stop to begin the fire part of your tour as you soak up the fun and sun in Las Vegas.
Day 2 Lake Mead Scenic Byway with Redstone, Lost city and Red Hills Desert Garden
The red rock is composed of frozen sand dunes from the Jurassic era, and the red coloring is caused by iron that leached up through the sand before it solidified into rock. The Lost City Museum shares its location with an actual prehistoric site of the Ancestral Puebloans. The museum was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935. Day 3 Zion-Mount Carmel Highway and Bryce Canyon Sunset
Travel along the scenic Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. The East Zion Tunnel connects Zion's two distinct landscapes and is a true marvel of engineering. Pull outs will be made along the way for amazing photo ops. Arrive at Bryce Canyon to experience the sun setting over the canyons. Seeing the stark white of freshly fallen snow, red rocks, blue sky, and evergreen trees--has many saying Bryce Canyon is the most beautiful in winter! B
Day 4 Art and Sleigh Ride Dinner
Visit the Springdale Museum of Art with nine galleries including a magnificent collection of Utah art, with over 2,000 paintings, drawings, prints, and sculptures. This evening is an unforgettable experience gliding through the pristine slopes of Park City’s snow-capped mountains in a horse-drawn sleigh. Upon arrival at the Snowed Inn Lodge, you will be welcomed by a roaring fire, live music, and western-style meal. B,D
Day 5 Antelope Island, Great Salt Lake
The island is home to many animals, including bison, mule deer, bighorn sheep, pronghorn, and porcupines. In the winter, the wildlife is more active. It is also home to more than 250 species of birds. (B)
Day 6 Snow Coach Tour in Yellowstone
This is your day to discover Yellowstone in a heated snow coach with an experienced Yellowstone guide. Even if you have toured Yellowstone before, winter is magical as wildlife travels near the groomed trails. Visit some of the landmarks for which Yellowstone is famous including Firehole Falls, Fountain Paint Pots and the world's most famous geyser, Old Faithful. There will be plenty of time to witness Old Faithful's dramatic and have lunch on your own at Snow Lodge in the park. (B)
